In New York, Project Lifesaver is a rapid-response tracking program that helps families locate loved ones with cognitive impairments who wander. The service is primarily administered through local Sheriff’s Offices and Police Departments.

Albany, Allegany, Broome, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Chenango, Clinton, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Dutchess, Erie, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Genesee, Greene, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Montgomery, Nassau, Niagara, Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Schuyler, Seneca, St. Lawrence, Steuben, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tomkins, Ulster, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Westchester and Yates.
